The American Psychological Association (APA) created the APA style, a set of rules which aims to guide students and researchers in the proper citation of directly quoted/paraphrased materials. In APA Style,  citations are found in two places: 1.) in the body of the paper (in-text citation)  and 2.) at the end of the paper (reference list). The Concise APA Handbook: APA 7th Edition is available online via OpenAthens.
